Bringing Friends and Families Together

This past week I had the privilege to sit down and interview Taylor Richards the Founder & CEO of Taylor's Boats. Anytime I have the opportunity to sit down with a seasoned CEO I always ask what their mission is. So I asked Taylor, What is the mission of Taylor's Boats?

Taylor passionately answered, "The mission of Taylor's Boats is to bring Friends and Families Together. Over the 30+ years I have been in this business I have heard over and over again from customers that they have snowmobiles, they travel, they have cabins, they do all kinds of things as a family. But the best thing they have ever done is bought a boat and take their family boating. Their best family memories are boating. The best times they have with friends are when they are on a boat at the lake. That's our mission. It's to bring friends and families together and create those lifetime memories for friends and family that will keep them and bind them together forever". 

The unique and magical thing about boating is that it really does gather together those we love. A trip to Lake Powell or an evening on the local lake will always draw together those we love. Boating gives everyone a chance to do something they enjoy and unlike other recreational activities your family is all close together in the same space on a boat. 

Thinking back on my own life, boating with my family in Lake Powell are my most cherished and fun memories. I remember learning to wakeboard for the first time, building sand castles with my siblings, fishing with my dad, hiking to the top of mountains, swimming next to a towering sand stone wall and tubing with friends.
